Su Qing stood before the iron gate, staring at it in disbelief.

The home was evacuated overnight. The housemaids left, and the bank had taken the furniture for auction.

Rain dropped on her face, and it felt so cold. However, she did not shed a single tear.

"When will the house be up for auction?" asked Su Qing. She looked as if she was a soulless human doll and signed woodenly on the form given by the bank officer. 

"In six months at the earliest," said the officer. He was stunned by her beauty for a moment.

Su Qing looked at the house she had lived in for over a decade. Of a sudden, she heard a piercing voice. 

"You still think about the house when you don't even know where to spend the night?"

A couple came out of the sports car. The person who spoke was Xia Meng, and the man standing beside her was Lu Zheng.

Lu Zheng looked straight at Su Qing. She was still pretty even though she was down to earth.

Su family had two stunning daughters. Su Ling was the eldest, and Su Qing was the youngest.

Lu Zheng had a crush on Su Qing since university, but she rejected him many times. With the fallen of the Su family, he felt this was his chance.

Su Qing did not want to give any attention to the couple. She took her luggage and left. 

Xia Meng finally caught a chance to humiliate Su Qing and won't let her go quickly. "Su Qing, you have nothing left, so what are you so proud of?" said Xia Meng. 

She hated Su Qing because her first love from high school fell in love with Su Qing and broke with her.

Men liked Su Qing because of her good-looking and strong family background. But with the fallen of Su family, beauty was all she had.

"You're all alone now, Su Qing. I promise to treat you well if you follow me."

Lu Zheng wanted badly to get his hands on her body so he could satisfy his inner feeling of inferiority.

Su Qing had no place to stay now, and she must be very short of money. Lu Zheng was sure that she had no reason to decline. 

Lu Zheng wanted to put his arm around her waist, but before he touched her, he was kicked in the calf by Su Qing and cried out in pain.

"Su Qing, don't be ignorant! Apart from me, who wants to help you?"

"You are nowhere near my type," Su Qing said coldly. 

"You hit me?! I'll call the police!" said Lu Zheng. He felt irritated. 

"Up to you," said Su Qing coldly. She then pulled her luggage and headed out. 

Mr. and Mrs. Su both died tragically. Su Qing became homeless. She left so hurriedly that she only brought one suitcase.

Xia Meng was still swearing behind her, but she didn't care anymore. Nothing was more destructive than a broken home.

She had nothing left now. The house was Su Qing's last hope, and she had to save it!

Su Qing glanced back at the house from afar and dialled a strange number.
