The night was deep.

Ariana Smith was lying on the delivery bed, biting her teeth painfully. Her beautiful face was somewhat distorted from exerting such strength.

The pain was intense, never-ending, and she was running out of strength.

"The amniotic fluid has broken!"

"But the baby's head is not even out yet!"

"Damn it! The mother's blood pressure is dropping!"

The voices of the doctors and nurses sounded panicked. Although Ariana didn't understand these terms, she knew her situation was dire.

Welcome. She said; her happiness changed into a smirk when she noticed a birthmark behind his ears. Just like that ugly face, she muttered. She then made her way to sort out the hospital bills and returned to the Smith family with Mrs. George right after, without concern for Ariana.

In the Alston mansion, Anna handed the baby to Mrs.Alex Aryan's mother. Her face was plastered with a fake smile, her focus only on Aryan, who showed low interest.

He looked just like Aryan, Mrs.Alex stated happily as she look over to Aryan and the baby. So similar, she added with a chuckling voice.

I just hope he doesn't take after some traits, Mr.Alex said as he looked over at Aryan who only smiled before having his turn in carrying the baby. He took the baby from his mom and had a clear look of him. He couldn't stop his heart from fluttering at the baby sight and start doubting if he would be a good father. He was shrugged out of his thoughts when the baby throwed up on him and held one of his fingers.

Heyyyy, he said as he close his eyes at the sight of the throw up on him.

Awwwwn, Mrs.Alex gushed as she immediately took a picture of Aryan with the baby.

Aryan immediately handed the baby to his mom and head to the restroom.

The laughter continues with Anna cleaning the baby up.

Now Anna, we already discussed about the wedding with Aryan and he agreed. Mr.Alex said, adjusting his glasses as he speaks. Not until the baby is five years old, Mrs.Alex added. It's Aryan choice.

Anna only nodded in agreement. Be rest assured, you're now my daughter in-law. You gave birth to the next heir of the Alston, you're now my daughter. Aryan mother held Anna hands in hers and finally gave her an hug. We must give Anna something to welcome her, don't you think so honey.

Huh...yeah we should, Alex said absentmindedly.

No don't bother, Anna said smiling her lips painted with a nude lipstick spreading across her face.

What do you mean, you deserve it. Aryan mother added.

I'm off to the office

Aren't you joining us for lunch? Mrs.Alex said

Something urgent came up mum, I'll be back before dinner. Bye champ, he tickled the baby before heading out without a glance at Anna. She watched him leave the room and soon heard the sound of his car leaving the mansion.

I'll make you fall over heels in love with me, it's just a matter of time. She said to herself, a hint of smirk showing on her face.

Three days later.

Ariana who had just been discharged from the hospital, went to the Smith family right away. She met Violet in the living room leisurely doing her nails. Seeing Ariana rush in like a wind, she said coldly, "What are you doing here?"

Ariana was furious: "Mom is having surgery tomorrow, why didn't you pay the surgical fee as promised?"

Postpartum Ariana, haggard and weak, without any interest in dressing up, looked like a complete country bumpkin.

They are sisters, brought into this world after their mother's ten-month pregnancy!

"Oh yes, her child..." She suddenly remembered

Ariana raised her head and looked at her arrogant demeanor, sneering coldly.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Anna, I will never let you take away my child!" Somehow, Ariana mustered up the strength to stand, "I'm going to the Alston to fetch my child!"

Having said that, she turned around to leave.

At this moment, a voice came from upstairs, "Stop her! Don’t let her leave!"

Anna nodded, "But I am still not at ease, Mom. Ariana is dead, Brooke won't easily let this go.”

Violet took Anna’s well-cared, tender hand into hers, speaking softly, "Brooke has been ill for a long time, and her mental health is said not to be good. Anna finally allowed herself a joyful laugh, coquettishly hugging Violet's arm. "Mom, you don't have to worry. I will handle it all well." She then made her way upstairs with the bodyguards carrying Ariana to one of the rooms.

Violet smiled subtly. Brooke's natal family once held tremendous power in England. If not for her, she wouldn't have been forced to abort her child.

Later on, the Starr family fell from grace. She then stepped into the marriage, expelling the wife.

Because of the frequent abortions back then, she was no longer able to conceive, so she led Anna to her side through deceit.

Now, Anna destroyed Ariana with her own hands. I wonder how Brooke, the biological mother, feels.

Violet’s laughter grew louder as she remembered how she sent Brooke out of the house fifteen years ago and took over her responsibility, including turning Anna's heart away from herm. Her laughter died down, and she muttered something only she knew.

Later that night, Ariana's unconscious body, dripping with blood, was put at the back of the car by the bodyguards, and the car headed out of the mansion. After 30 minutes, the car halted by a riverside, and Anna, alongside three bodyguards, boarded Smith's private ship. After making sure no one was looking, Ariana's body was brought to Anna, who was standing by the ship's end. The leather pants gave way to her slender legs, the stormy winds and waves blowing her long blonde hair to her face. She stepped forward and bent down, crouching down to Ariana's size before giving her a hard-felt slap.

Do you think you're important? She said, still slapping Ariana's unconscious body.

Don't worry, I'll make sure your child never comes to see your ugly face again. Throw her, she said without any sympathy for her twin sister and only looked back when she heard a splash.

Ariana was thrown off the ship.

Five years later..........

At the Emerald International Airport, fans held signboards waiting at the exit.

"Suzan, she is here!"

Who knows who shouted it out, but the fans waiting for her at the airport immediately erupted in excitement.

"Suzan! We love you!"

"You're the best! Suzan smiled and nodded to her fans. She took off her sunglasses, revealing a face that was both beautiful and captivating. Her large eyes twinkled, and at the corner of one eye, a beauty mark added an extra that could topple all beings.
