"Chris, I'm back."

Chris Woods walked out of the company building, he sensed a white figure rushing toward him. He glanced at figure rushing towards him. Even the surrounding security guards had no chance to stop him. This scene left everyone surprised.

The unexpected but familiar voice made Chris's body stand there stiffly. He did not move at all, and his face was expressionless. The people behind him who were leaving the office building were also shocked. They looked at the woman who was hugging Chris in disbelief. They could not help but admire the woman's courage.

It was a common knowledge that Chris was immune to women. It was considered that he hated women. Over the years, no woman who wanted to climb into his bed had a good ending, leave alone get close to him. Over time, it was said that he liked men. Then, some people had sent men to please him. What happened to those men later, no one knew. It wasn't difficult to imagine though.

Tiana Gordon looked at the young woman who was holding Chris. A trace of surprise flashed across her face, but she soon calmed down.

She knew this woman, she had seen her. Many years ago, she had met this woman. She had seen with her own eyes how this woman had rejected Chris's proposal. If this woman had not rejected the marriage proposal, today, Chris's wife would have been this woman. Tiana was thinking what was she doing here now after so many years.

Tiana stood behind Chris so could not see the expression on his face. However, she thought that Chris would also be very shocked and surprised. The sudden appearance of a woman who he loved, who had disappeared for so many years, he must be in a very complicated mood. Her train of thoughts was disrupted when she heard that woman talking to Chris excitedly.

"Chris?" Amy Lawson held Chris in her arms, but she couldn't feel any movement from him. She let go of him and looked at him with excitement. He just stood still without giving any reaction. Finally she remined him, "Chris, it's me. Amy, I'm back. I'm back."

There was still no expression on Chris's face. He looked at Amy coldly with his dark eyes, and his words were devoid of any warmth. "Welcome back."

His cold reaction didn't sit well with Amy, "Chris, what's wrong with you? Are you still angry with me? Do you blame me for leaving you? Although I've been abroad all these years, you're the only man in my heart. I've been telling myself that I should come back to you as soon as possible." Amy held his sleeve and explained, "Chris, I'm back. I won't leave again. Let's start over again, okay?"

She said a lot but all Chris said was, "No."

Chris shook off Amy's hand and informed her coldly, "I'm married. I have no interest in cheating." Then glancing at his secretary he demanded, "Secretary Gordon, why hasn't the car arrived yet?"

Tiana who was still engrossed in the scene had not recovered until Chris's voice sounded. She was still lost in the sudden words about their marriage. Yes, she was the wife Chris was talking about. Except for the people of the Woods Family, almost no one knew about it. What did Chris mean by saying it without any scruples?

Coming back to senses, she said, "Sorry, I'll call the driver right away," Tiana stepped forward and said apologetically. As soon as she took out her mobile phone from her bag, she saw the car driving over. "President, the car is coming."

The car stopped. Tiana went to open the car door and waited for Chris to get in.

Suddenly, Amy who was trying to digest what she had heard, spoke, "You lied to me, didn't you? You are still angry with me, so you deliberately lied to me that you got married, didn't you?" Amy questioned behind Chris. "Except me, how could you fall in love with another woman?"

"Why can't I marry another woman?" Chris stopped before getting in the car. He turned around and looked at Amy sarcastically. "I'm married. I don't need to lie to you." With that he started to sit in the car.

However, Amy rushed in front of Chris excitedly. "I don't believe it. I have asked everyone. No one knows that you are married. Even the newspaper and magazine have never reported your marriage, let alone someone has seen your wife."

While she was still talking, Chris directed, "Secretary Gordon, tell her whether I am married or not." Chris suddenly called out to Tiana. Once again Tiana was stunned.
